Membership

The British Charitable Society welcomes new members who want to be part of our activities. There are different options for membership that entitle those who join the Society to the range of benefits listed below.

Please contact Emma Louise Wicks for a membership application form, or view and print it here. Complete the form, have it signed by an existing member of the Society and mail it, with a cheque for the appropriate amount, to:

It would also help us meet the needs of our members if you could complete and return with your membership fee the Society's New Member Questionnaire.

Membership dues will be collected on each anniversary and will automatically be added to the Society's endowment fund unless otherwise requested.

Membership Categories and Benefits

• Individual: $75 p.a. Benefits include discounts at a range of British based retailers and organizations in the Boston area plus our Charter magazine.
• Family: $125 p.a. Benefits as above for individual membership.
• Patron: $300 p.a. Benefits include an invitation to a Consul General's Residence event plus all benefits previously described.
• Joint Patron: $550 p.a. Benefits include 2 invitations to a Consul General event plus all benefits as previously described.
• President's Circle: $1000 p.a. Benefits include a special event dinner hosted by the BCS President, an invitation to a Consul General event plus all previously described benefits.
• Joint President's Circle: $1750 p.a. Benefits include 2 invitations to all of the above plus previously described benefits.
• Benefactor: $2000 initial gift, thereafter annual individual dues. Benefits include an invitation to a privileged event hosted by the Consul General and all benefits as previously described.
• Corporate: $500 p.a. Advertisement in Charter Magazine. Links to your website from the BCS website. Opportunity to sponsor or co host events.
